With unlimited amounts of hiking and exploring in this Arizona town, most days in Sedona will be spent on the trail. After a day of adventure, nothing is better than a cold, crisp craft beer. Although not typically known for its beer scene, we did our due diligence and found the best spots for you to grab a post-adventure brew in Sedona.
Best of the Best: Sedona Beer Company
By far our favorite spot to grab a beer in Sedona is Sedona Beer Company. Since it's located just a quick walk from the main strip allows travelers easy access to a brewery that is not overpriced or filled with tourists. Not to mention, they have a rotating selection of incredible beers using local ingredients. With two outdoor patios, views of red rocks, and a great selection of food, this is MUST stop for anyone visiting Sedona.
Favorite: Juniper Saison - a Saison made with berries from a local Juniper tree!
If You Want Grub: Famous Beer and Pizza
Located in the Western part of Sedona, Famous Beer and Pizza is the best place to grab a slice of pizza AND a local glass of suds. They have their outdoor patio with views of Sedona as well as indoor seating with some TVs. Many of the most popular hikes in Sedona are off of Dry Creek Road and this road brings you right past this spot, leaving you with no excuse to not grab a quick pint. Before you go, check their lunch or daily specials on slices and pints!
It should be noted that this spot is located within walking distance of the public library, where you can get all the free wifi you need! (As RV-lifer's, this is a serious bonus)
Favorite: Tower Station IPA - an unfiltered and fruity IPA from Flagstaff’s Mother Road Brewing.
High(er) Class: Open Range Grill and Tavern
A bit more pricey and formal than the other options; this tavern provides some of the best views in Sedona that justify its higher costs. With a wide selection of food and drinks, this place is great for those who want the full tourist experience of having a drink on the main strip with incredible views.
Favorite: Flagstaff IPA - a full bodied and bitter IPA from Lumberyard Brewing Co.
Honorable Mention: Hilltop Deli - Jerome
This spot originally did not make the list above because it is not in Sedona, however, it should be known for all travelers passing through. Located a quick drive from Sedona in the old mining town of Jerome, Hilltop Deli is the best place to grab a sandwich and a beer while enjoying breathtaking views of the Verde Valley. Whether you are sitting outside on on their outdoor patio, you will not be disappointed with the beer, food, or views.
Favorite: Arizona Trail Ale - a beer by THAT Brewery that gives back part of the proceeds to the Arizona Trail Association!
Cheers!
